New Skincare Regime!

I've been trying this new skincare line from Cremorlab for the past 2 weeks. Cremorlab is a Korean brand that emphasizes on skin moisturizing. Their products are also paraben free, artificial colour free, fragrance free and alcohol free, which is safe for sensitive skin.

Products from left to right: refreshing cleansing gel oil, mineral treatment essence and fresh water gel.

The PR sent me both mineral treatment essence and fresh water gel, I bought their refreshing cleansing gel oil after trying out their products.

Cremorlab Mineral Treatment Essence (RM 136.80/ 270 ml)

Good quality cotton pads are attached with the essence bottle!

I always wanted to add this step into my skincare regime, this step is meant to provide more moisture level to the skin while helping the skin to regain radiance. In my opinion, this isn't as pricey as we only need a small amount.

Cremorlab Fresh Water Gel (RM 126.20/ 100 ml)

This moisturizer is hydrating and super light weight! By far one of the most light weighted hydrating moisturizer I've used before.

Very quick absorption too!

Cremorlab Refreshing Cleansing Gel Oil (RM 89/ 150 ml)

A gel-type cleansing oil

I'm a fan of cleansing oil, although I don't apply make up on daily basis, I believe it cleanses my pores and remove dirt on my skin more thoroughly.

This cleansing oil is in gel formulation and it doesn't feel as greasy as regular cleansing oil in the market, and it works exactly like other cleansing oil products.

*all Cremorlab products mentioned above are available at Muse by Watson

#ChiangMai Staycation - Baan Canna Country Resort

Hello there, Happy Labour Day! It seems like I take forever to finish my travel posts (talking about efficiency of sorting of thousands of photos and editing!), I guess this would be my second last post before I wrap up my Chiang Mai & Chiang Rai trip posts!

Our style of travel is always like this - budget hotels on the first few days and tour around as many tourist attractions as we could and then indulge ourselves on a fine resort/ hotel on the last day.

Check out our budget 1st & 2nd day stay!:

(1st day) Chiang Mai hotel - http://emmz-s.blogspot.my/2015/10/chiangmai-arrival.html

(2nd day) Chiang Rai resort - http://emmz-s.blogspot.my/2016/02/amarin-resort-chiang-rai-more-than-just.html

For our 3rd day stay in Chiang Mai, we picked this resort called Baan Canna Country Resort.

We booked the room via Agoda at RM 274.74 (tax included) for our stay on Oct, 2015. This is a very decent resort with reasonable price, the only down side is its location, it's located in a distant area from the city. We basically needed to take about half and hour to drive to the city.

This is how the entrance looks like, I'm amazed by the unique design!

It feels different entering the resort like this!

Reception with antique wood furniture!

Our resort room!

Fell in love at first sight for this room!!! ðŸ’•ðŸ’•

We were not only impressed by the coziness of the room, we were satisfied with the service too! The air-conditioner was turned on before we check in!

#roomgoal

The wooden wardrobe with bathrobes, room slippers, safety box, and...

hair dryer!

This is the corner I love the most!

A mini sofa with a lovely coffee table, love the perfect lightning which is suitable for doing some work when travelling!

and a small TV set for some entertainment too.

I wish I could wake up to room like this every morning!

Moving to their spacious bathroom!

Shower area

There's a glass window in the shower area.

Felt very insecure at first when I showered in a ''see-through'' space, but it's covered by fences and plants. Tons of inspirational ideas flowing in when I took a shower in a space like this by staring out the window at those beautiful greenery.

Then the toilet bowl.

Only 1 little thing I couldn't comprehend, why the coffee set has to be right next to the toilet? #weird

My #bathroomgoal💕

How it looks like from the inside of our resort room.

Our stay was very pleasant, there are ONLY 6 rooms in Baan Canna Country Resort, which makes this place very tranquil and peaceful. A perfect get away staycation from the hustle and bustle from the city! Waking up to the insects orchestra in the morning is the best feeling ever!

The pool.

The swimming pool was rather small sized compare to the usual hotels/ resorts, but good thing is the pool will not get crowded. :)

Our complimentary breakfast!

A little space for the guests to chill outside the room.

Wished I could stay a few more days to deeply immerse myself into the beauty of nature!

Pros:
1. Spacious room (54 s.q.m)

2. Clean, comfortable bed and cozy

3. Free wifi

4. Very quiet, relaxing, and peaceful atmosphere

5. You get to experience a stay closer to mother nature as the resort rooms are surrounded by greenery

6. Good customer service although the are only a few staffs on standby

7. Cheaper price for a more luxury stay

Cons:
1. Location is in a rural area, very inconvenient for travellers who're not driving (at least half an hour drive to the city)

2. Breakfast choice is limited

3. Swimming pool is a smaller and not as luxury

March Favourites

Hello there! I haven't been blogging for about two weeks, apology for my absence, I've been travelling home (where my family stays) and hometown (where my root is) for cheng beng! I did something unbelievable too, I DROVE ALL BY MYSELF FOR 6+ HOURS (2 WAYS TRIP)!!! I wouldn't let my parents to drive so I did it by myself, while my brother was helping out at the store.

Well I haven't given up on favourites but I'm going to do some adjustments to it. I've become a lot more committed to blogging since I started to blog about favourites but now, instead of doing it biweekly, I'm going to do it on a monthly basis. Well the reason being so is I would like to spend more time on writing more interesting posts such as travel, beauty etc...

Now without further ado...let's see what my March favourites were!

Favourite Skincare:

This KOSÉ SEKKISEI’s Special Edition Trial Kit is my new love! I'm now finished with this trial kit I felt so regretful that I didn't get a spare set when they were doing promotion! Love how it feels on my skin! For full detailed review please check out my previous post at here .

Next favourite is this Biore UV Spray. It's my favourite for sunblock retouch purpose as it's much easier to reapply sunblock after every few hours especially when I'm teaching for long hours. Very high coverage in SPF 50+ and PA++++, I'm using it as my hair sunblock too!

And this...my ALL TIME FAVOURITE cleansing wipes from Bifesta! I got it in the Hello Kitty edition, so adorable! I've blogged this before so for full and detailed review please check out my previous post here .

Favourite Body Product:

I'm not a body lotion type of person, the weather in Malaysia is scorching hot and I often feel that the body lotion melt right after I apply it. It becomes sticky on my skin. Then I decided to try this Nivea's In-Shower Body Lotion when I shopped at Watson, this is a game changing for me! By applying this after shower gel and rinsing it off, my skin is not burdened by the lotion anymore. No more sticky tacky feeling and skin is softer and smoother!

Favourite Tea:

I've been drink this Jasmine and Green tea from Totally Organic for a couple of months already, bought it randomly. I didn't know what's the logic behind but this tea soothes my menstrual pain.

Favourite Book:

I know I'm late to the bookclub but I discovered this Secret a while ago, getting the ''HERO'' version for my first secret book and I'm going to get another one. I love reading a few pages before bed time.

Favourite Quote:

I'm a strong believer of daily activities such as actions, practices, conservations, training would determine who you are in the future.

Favourite Movie:

This movie is based on true story. It narrates a rescue mission of a Coast Guard who made a daring decision to rescue sailors trapped on a massive storm. Others called it a suicide mission and never expected he'll back with dozens of survivors.

"Impossible mission in other's eyes could be possible in yours."

Favourite Inspirational Video:

I'm into TED Talks nowadays, and this is my favourite one from last month - GOING ALL IN ON YOUR PASSION.

Favourite Music:

That's all for my March favourites!  ♥♥
