Genting Food Hunt - Day 2

This post is all about food, which I totally forgot if I didn't check back my old posts. I've blogged about Day 1, read here if you haven't - http://emmz-s.blogspot.com/2013/01/genting-food-hunt-day-1.html . Promised you guys to post 2nd day soon but once I back from vacation, I was too excited to blog about my trip and forgot about this, really paiseh neh..=.=

Alright back to topic...since my sister and I were staying at the World Club Lounge of First World Hotel, we've special cafeteria at the 25th floor just for the World Club guests. 

Day 2, Breakfast Buffet:  First World World Club Lounge Café 

It's nice that there's actually NO ONE at around 8am! So good cause we don't have to queue for the food =)

This tom yum noddle is made by my sister, I don't like to take spicy thing early in the morning. She said this was "okay lah"

Sister's choice - cereal in milk

Overall the food was okay lah, basic Malaysian breakfast and some western choices too. But it's a little limited choice. 

Day 2, Lunch :  Hou Mei

According to the PR girls, this is one of their favourite dining place, another one is Hainan Kitchen. 

Quite crowded too as they consider here as one of the "cheap" dining place (it's still expensive la if compare to the price in KL)

This is the best among all! Deep Fried Fish Cake. 

Herbal Duck Noodle Soup (one of the popular dish here, taste not bad hmm..)

Some of their food are okay but the price kinda expensive, although this is consider a budget dining place...

Sorry for the lack of update...I've been trying my best to update as much as I could, but still there're still so many pending posts!!! This should be updated last month, but I'm just blogging about it right now. Late is better than never, right? ;)

First product I gonna try - Wella System Professional Smoothen Shampoo and Mask

The hot weather recently made my hair looks so bad and frizzy, T_T

After shampooing and applying mask on the hair...

Bye bye frizzy hairr!!!!

The smell of the both SP shampoo and mask are kinda nice too! :p I personally really love the mask, it's like using the hair conditioner after shampooing the hair! Just leave 5 mins on the hair, rinse it off and it's done! How convenient! ♥ 

Now my hair is easy to comb, not frizzy and curly anymore. Smooth and supple hair yay!! :)

The next product - Oriks Wild Ginseng Stemcell (Callus) Twister Essence

Good texture, I don't feel oily after applying it on my skin too. Didn't take the before and after pic of my face cz I can't see the much difference after 1 application. 

This is my FAV product - B.liv off with those heads!!! Been using this for years and it's so far the best product I've tried! No more stubborn blackheads anymore, basically all of them "float" on the skin surface LOL! 

Then, I tried this - Benefit POREfessional Balm

Was wondering what is this product but, and after I find some information on this, it's a concealer to minimize the appearance of the pores! It can be used WITH/ WITHOUT makeup. 

How to apply? 

To Use Under makeup: Apply to clean, lightly moisturized skin. Pat on problem areas and blend with fingertips.

To Use Over Makeup: Pat on lightly over makeup and blend.

The texture, this is a little too much to apply.  

Tried it on the nose, can see it covered the pores on my nose. You've to look carefully to spot the difference. :p

Hong Kong Must Eat #1 - Tim Ho Wan, the Dim-Sum Specialists 添好运点心

Dim Sum is a food that you shouldn't miss when you go to Hong Kong! Although I'm not a big fan of pork but I know I have to try. Tim Ho Wan, the Dim-Sum Specialists 添好运点心 is a well-known Dim Sum shop in which they're almost at the top list in open rice. They have plenty of branches too, we went to the one located in Mong Kok. 

We were again, having hard time finding this restaurant! My bf and I had some shopping at Ladies' Market, then slowly we walk to Kwang Wah Street in Mong Kok, with the help of map and GPS on my phone! *getting really confused again, especially after a long tiring and playful day at Ocean Park! So sorry I skip the Ocean Park part as I get shocked with so many photos and videos taken, give me some more time okay??* 

Alright back to the topic, we finally found it! This big-name Dim Sum shop! And, we have to queue again! Arghh! Really?!? We have to queue in every restaurant we wanna dine in? Luckily it was night time at around 830pm, the queue wasn't that bad. Phew~ Thank God! Still, we have to wait like, about 10 mins. So we were waiting outside thinking what we have to eat (they'll give you a menu for order before you enter the shop, efficient I would say).

Then finally, a table for two for us! But the shop is REALLY SMALL and PACKED!

Hot Chinese Tea is refillable at the price of HKD 2/cup.

I think must order this one, to really fill our stomach lollllll.....it's like our 荷叶饭.

 晶莹鲜虾饺 HKD 24

This is quite nice, the skin of the 虾饺 is just right, not too hard or too soft, and the shrimp (middle size) is fresh too. 

潮州蒸粉果 HKD 11

This one, I LOVE THE MOST!!! The filling with vegetables, nuts etc....om nommmm nommmmm......

酥皮叉烧包 HKD 17

Haha! This one? Special look right? It's one of their special dish. My bf said horrrr...."you know, mexican bun with sweet pork". Hmmm....kinda true la hahaha!  

煎腊味萝卜糕 HKD 14

Not bad lah this one, I kinda like it. Soft and the taste is just right for me, bf don't really like this maybe cause of he doesn't like 腊味.

杞子桂花糕 HKD 12

This is the one I expect the most. Since I was young I always heard of this 桂花糕 in dramas. I have my own imagination to this dish though, but turn out, 1 word = TOO SWEETTTT! 

南瓜西米露 HKD 15

This quite good, but I thought 西米露 is ice dessert? No? Cultural difference? 

Overall I think really not bad la but kinda pricey....spent 121HKD for 2 person for Dim Sum T_T.
