IDOtshirt - The Personalized Tee

We could wear a simple Tee anywhere, anytime, and at any age. Recently there's an new website launched idotshirt.com . It is a Malaysian online game that allows you to personalize your very own t-shirt designs.

The pre-launch designs.

There were 16 hearts designs that representing the essence and uniqueness of Malaysia.... I had no idea why I chose the most significant design :p

They're launching their version one soon which features 3 main theme designs with creative designed graphics for users to customize their very own t-shirt. There'll also be additional choice of t-shirt colours and types of printing method (ie. silk screen, velvet...)

Feeling touristy as if I'm on vacation in Malaysia! Hahaaa...

I love their tee is not because I'm that patriotic but the t-shirt cutting and the quality is quite good :) .  It's 100% cotton fully comb.

Julyyyyyyy

I admit that I wasn't active in this page for quite a while but hey...I'm back!!!! :D :D  Holiday is around the corner or some of you already started your holiday??? Feel like it's gonna be a boring holiday ( for me ) cause I'll be going back hometown. Just gonna spend another warm moment with the family but this made me dying for a short getaway...urgh!

Alright this was some stories that happened last month.

Went for go-kart with friends.

I know right...the car looked......like a toy car for kids =.= . I actually expected something more, not just a piece of plastic with the engine beside me! Phew~~~ it's like you expecting a speedboat but they're giving you a canoe with engine. I was speechless when I saw that.

The track.

So the tires are the "wall"

Alright stop whining since we were already here....I'll just try my best to enjoy!

Yours truly and her friend, Bryan

Can't believe that he actually managed to tone up his muscle so much in just one year time! He was quite skinny back then I really salute his persistence in daily exercise and diet. He's a true inspiration for all of us.

 The boyf and him.

Group shot after the 45 mins car race!!!

It was pretty fast when I drove that little car but the sterling is sooo sooo soooooooo hard to control, and we were basically "eating sand" for the whole race so recommend you guys wear a mask if you're planning for go-kart too! The road and car is so bumpy, and the sterling is vibrating all the time and all of our hands were sore after the ride. Anyway it was a nice experience but I definitely won't go back for this one. =.=

We were planning to surprise they boyf after go-kart. After go-kart it was near midnight and it was his bday when the clock strikes midnight!

Purposely went Wong Kok for supper instead of bar/pub so that he won't be suspicious.

Don't mind his messy hair after go-kart lol...should have bring hair gel for him. :p

A year older, a year wiser.

Thanks to all my friends who help me to surprise him! Nobody will expect a cake after a tiring car ride hehhee...

The celebration didn't end yet....we rode up to Genting next day on his bday, just to relax and enjoy the breezy air :)

one of our fav spot in Genting - Coffee Bean.

What Asian likes to do - selca.

Alright lastly, I went to Royale Chulan hotel for French dining. Gonna update about the dinner soon so stay tune!

Horizon Hotel, Kota Kinabalu

Few of my friends asked : "Emma you're still not finish with your Hong Kong posts?" . Okay then today I gonna blog about KK! XD . If you've been reading my blog you'll know that I went KK right after my Hong Kong/ Macau trip! You may read my first day here if you haven't. :)

I spent my first night in Tune Hotel http://emmz-s.blogspot.com/2013/06/tune-hotel-kota-kinabalu.html , and second night was in Horizon Hotel

I went during January and there were CNY decorations.

It was kinda last minute decision to go KK. We booked the flight ticket to KK just about a week before the Hong Kong trip and basically we don't have much time to do research and find a really good hotel by reading and comparing all the reviews. So I just selected this among a few good ones. If I'm not mistaken we booked this hotel via Asiarooms.com .

Check-in time.

Hmmm...kinda expected something cause this hotel won the 2012 tripadvisor excellent award.

Nestled in the heart of the KK city, it is a very convenient hotel for tourists.

The comfy bed in the room...

The closer look.

The "living room" with TV, chair, and a painting on the wall.

The working desk.

Mini bar.

The wardrobe equipped with safety box, shoe, ironing material, bathrobe and "sarung"

The bath room:

Loving the additional small mirror on the side!

Clean bathroom :)

Toiletries

Loving the stylist carpet! So sad cause I forget to take picture with it :(

View from my room

Overall this hotel is a lot better than what I expected! Spacious room, stylist designated and clean. This is one of the most satisfying hotels that I stayed and I'm so proud of my last minute choice :p . Too delighted with my 2nd night stay very reluctant to check out the next day :p

Hong Kong Day 3 : Ngong Ping 360

Finally....I'm blogging about Hong Kong Day 3!! It's like taking me forever to finish my Hong Kong post >.< . We actually follow what we planned and we bought the ticket first day when we arrived in Hong Kong.  If you're opt for cheaper ticket entrance and if you don't mind finding the travel agency in Hong Kong, you may refer to my previous blog post here >> http://emmz-s.blogspot.com/2013/02/hong-kong-day-1.html .

Well...there's too many photos I really can't believe it so I just gonna add in the food pictures on some of my blog post ( for nice food and must eat I'll blog it separately so don't worry! :p ).

So we heard that the earlier we get to Ngong Ping 360, the better, we then just choose the simple food for our breakfast nearby our hotel which is located at Tai Kok Tsui

The porridge shop - Dai Shi Fu (大师傅)

Part of the menu.

Sliced fish porridge with maize ( HKD 18) for him.

Abalone slice and maize porridge for me ( HKD 24 ).

Surprisingly bigger Abalone slice than I expected...but I guess is can abalone I'm not sure too XD.

And add on yaw char guai which is not that nice (a bit hard cause it's not served directly after deep fried).

Overall the porridge was quite okay (quite smooth with adequate amount of ingredient) but the yaw char guai not so nice...

Some other food you may find in this restaurant.

After breakfast we directly headed to Olympic MTR and take the train to Tung Chung station....Ngong Ping 360 is our first destination for Day 3 :) .

We chose the Crystal Cable Car with glass bottom! Trust me pay a little bit more and you could experience something different :p

What this guy thinking while looking down?

Hehe....selca time as the time to travel up the hill is not that short  (around 20 -30 mins if not mistaken )

Hong Kong morning view!

Me try looking down........worrying about height as this is my first time experience with see-through bottom cable car.

Amazing view down there!

We caught the view of Tian Tan Big Buddha statue when we were at the cable car terminal.

Ngong Ping Village - the first area we entered after the cable car ride.

Me at one of the small "bridge" in Ngong Ping Village.

Time to make a wish?

Ngong Ping village is a cultural village with quite a few of restaurants and cafes but our aim is to reach the Tian Tan Buddha. One can opt for the vegetarian meal where you could buy the coupon/ voucher beside the entrance of the stairs.

Alright time for a break with Tau Fu Fah with ginger sauce!

Nom nommmmm.....

It's almost there!!

Need to climb sumore??? Phewww~~~ /-.-

There's 268 steps!

Finally we reached the top!!! Oh my god I already tired hahahhaa....it's weird that the weather at the top is not that cooling compare to the ground. Better wear a T-shirt with jacket so that you could take off when you reach the top (we traveled during the month of Jan the weather range is from 16 - 24 degree Celsius). And the boyf and I were sweating when we reached the top.... =.=

Close up look of Tian Tan Buddha #1

Close up look of Tian Tan Buddha #2

Buddhistic statues praising and making offerings to the Tian Tan Buddha.

The view from the top is breath-taking...

What a mesmerizing capture....

There are so many tourists climbing up while we were done enjoying the serenity and gorgeous view!

Another 20-30 mins of enjoying the panoramic view in the Crystal Cable Car....

Managed to capture this nice Hong Kong view. :)

Travel Tips:
1. Transportation : MTR (Olympic station >> Tung Chung station).

2. The earlier the better, even before 12pm the queue was long.

3. Wear T-shirt with jacket so that you could take off if you feel hot at the top of the hill.

4. Advisable to wear comfortable shoe as you need to walk quite a distance + climbing.

5. Do drop by Citygate shopping mall after Ngong Ping 360 tour.
