Song Hye Kyo Inspired Haircut (from Descendants of the Sun)

Who's watching this Korean Drama and obsessed with Song Hye Kyo like I do? She is a goddess and so pretty! 💕💕 I am so obsessed with this drama and Song Hye Kyo so I decided to had my haircut similar to hers in the drama!   

Song Joong Ki is cute too!! Only 2 episodes a week is killing me hahaaa..the story plot is so exciting! 

For the first time ever I showed a picture of a celebrity to hairstylist and requested him to cut my hair similar to Song Hye Kyo. Feeling a little embarrassed at first, but I desperately needed some change to my hair. I'm not a fan of hair colouring and never had my hair coloured before, to be honest I was feeling a little bored with the same hair style over the years. A lot of people told me that I can't change much for my hair unless I colour it or cut it very short (the boyish kind of short), I want neither one of them.

Love my new hair! It looks different now without any hair colouring and chemical damage. 

Why my bangs is not as short as Song Hye Kyo?

Despite I really love Song Hye Kyo, my face shape and figure, hair colour etc isn't the same as hers, my hair isn't as soft as hers too....My hairstylist Jason told me I can't had my bangs cut as short as hers, that would make me look like a kid. Well he was right, I tried to cut my bangs short once before, and it looked like this. ⬇⬇⬇

She looks so mature even with short bangs! I did the middle parting and had my bangs trimmed slightly longer than hers to look more mature.

Styling is needed to achieve her look in the drama, it takes me 5 - 10 mins to style it with a straightener but since my hair is much shorter now, my hair blowing time is shorten too. 

Very simple styling steps.

Start to curl my hair starts from the middle....then works towards the end. Curl the hair inwards and repeat the process. Spray some styling product after.

Number 76's Ultrasonic Hair Treatment - Will The Treatment Straighten My Hair?

A bestie of mine inspired me to blog about this topic, she has been wanting to try Number76's signature Ultrasonic Treatment but she has a concern- will the treatment straighten my hair?

My hair was so dry and frizzy after few days of extreme sun exposure and excessive wash after Chiang Mai trip, so I decided to pay a visit to Number76 and try out their magic hair treatment!

One thing I love visiting Number76 is their informative staff! 

Leon was explaining to me how this treatment uses the technology of infrared and other lights (haha sorry I don't remember already >.<) to help the products penetrate deeper into our hair.

Blue light means the iron is working on penetration process. 

Leon asked me to touch the iron, it was cold, no heat involved at all!

He then applied the treatment cream onto my hair after hair wash.

Another colleague of Leon came to speed up the process!

Question 1:

What is the difference between the Ultrasonic Treatment (Normal) and Ultrasonic Premium?

Answer: Both treatments use the same technology, the only difference is that Ultrasonic Premium process repeat twice, ie. double hair wash, two times treatment cream application and two times ironing process.

For the Normal Ultrasonic Treatment - RM 265.

For the Premium Ultrasonic Treatment - RM 370.

Question 2:

How long will the magic effect lasts after the treatment? 

Answer: My answer will be 5 weeks. 

You'll get to take home 4 pcs of Desse's hair treatment! This is why the treatment will lasts long. I tried to experiment not to use any other conditioner or treatment for the first two weeks after the treatment, but only uses the Desse's hair treatment they provided me, and it works well on my dry hair! A simple process once a week after the treatment which gives you another 4 weeks of good hair, and it takes only 5-10 mins after hair wash. If you're lazy, just use it like a conditioner. 

Question 3:

Will the treatment straighten my hair?

Answer: The treatment won't be straightening your hair because they uses the iron. The iron doesn't work as straightener, it just helps the treatment cream in penetration. 

However, if you perm your hair, a hair treatment smoothens hence straightens your hair a little. Curly hair doesn't need as much moisture as straight hair does. Nonetheless, I believe your curly hair will be still as fine after the treatment if you style them on daily basis. Try to seek advice from the helpful stylists and assistants before the treatment if you're still in doubts!

So I'll be starting with beauty products that I obsessed with recently.

1) Freshel Whitening UV Gel (RM 67)

I'm currently so obsessed with this product, this product is designed for ''not-a-morning'' person like me. I wish to sleep 5 more mins, and another 5 more mins and when the time I get up, I don't have much time for complicated skincare regime. I'll just apply this ALL-IN-ONE product after facial wash and I'm ready to go!! Yes, you could even skip the toning step! :p

Toner, Emulsion, Lotion, Cream, and UV Protection with SPF26 PA++!! A complete morning skincare regime with whitening effect and UV protection! Best part is this product is free from fragrance and colouring.:)

Love its texture too, it is thick but not sticky, just enough for the protection while leaving my skin feeling soft and supple. Sometimes I can't help touching my face as I really love how it works on my skin.

2) Neogence Skincare Set (RM 139)

Found this skincare set from SASA!

Hysluronic Acid Hydrating Range with Lotion, Essence and Sleeping Mask.

I was actually eyeing on the sleeping mask and lucky me found this in a set! It's only RM 139!!! Used their products few years back and I love the how they give moisture to my skin. This is actually a brand designed for after Aesthetic treatment and highly sensitive skin. :)

3) Haruhada Toner (RM 39.90 from SASA)

I bought it when it was BUY 1 FREE 1, this products are better than my expectation. 

I wanted to use it with large quantity for face mask purpose, but they actually give a good texture too. Sometimes I'll use it as a toner, not bad for a toner with this price. :)

4) Skin Care Mask (RM 5 from DAISO)

Love the way they design it with a tray, easy to use. :)

Pour a generous amount of Haruhada Toner into it,

and Tadaaa!! Facial time!!

It's a quick way to soften and brighten the skin when it's not in a good condition in the morning, I'll apply for around 5-10 mins. 

5) Satinique Scalp Tonic (from AMWAY)

Was looking for scalp tonic after taking advice of my hairstylist, but I had no idea where to get it. Then I recall this Amway's hair products are quite good, asked my mom to help me get one. It doesn't give instant result as our scalp health depends on other factors too, but it does help in some way. With other methods of taking care of my scalp, it's turning so much better now. :)

Kérastase Scalp Purifiant Treatment by Number76!

This is actually my 3rd visit to this renowned Japanese Hair Salon in Mid Valley, I finally got the chance to try out their hair treatment! I only did hair cut on my previous visits, specially thanks to Sue Ann for the review invitation I was really looking forward for Number76 team to save my hair!

She's a friendly staff, called me up when I was stucked in traffic jam, then she arranged things nicely so that my stylist could serve me when I arrived. :)

Simple, elegant and stylist, best thing is they've expanded the salon! So much spacious compare to the last time's one.

To be honest, I was so tempted for their Signature Ultrasonic Treatment, and it's upgraded version some more! 

But...I have a very bad scalp, I know it myself. So I had to tell the hairstylist to go for scalp treatment when he asked. You've no idea how badly I wanted to try the Ultrasonic! 

But everyone knows it,

"No healthy scalp, no healthy hair."

I was served by Terry on my previous visits too, I didn't mention about his name when I scheduled my appointment, apparently they've good customer's tracking record and they arranged the same stylist to me! Thumbs up for their customer service. :)

Didn't know my scalp was so dry and all the pores are clogged until I seen this scalp analysis, I always thought I was having a dandruff scalp! Gosh, now I know what hair products to choose to use on daily basis.

According to Terry, the clogged pores on my scalp are weakens my roots and hair, hence all the hairfall I was experiencing! So heartache to see so much hair drops after hair wash every time...now I know the reason :( And my new hair grown were so much finer now (I had a very thick hair last time) cause they can't grow healthily on bad scalp anymore...

The Kerastase Scalp Purifiant Treatment has both gentle exfoliation and anti-dandruff functions. This combination works effectively to purify scalp dermis for a refreshed, regenerated scalp while soothing that itchy, flaky feeling. 

Then I was attended by his assistant for the treatment, he applied the product layer by layer followed by some head massage onto my unhealthy scalp.

Then I was leave for a few mins for the product to be fully absorbed onto the scalp.
