Celebrate this Festive Season with Foodpanda!

Merry Christmas everyone, hope you're enjoying your holiday! ♥

This is the month of celebration! I'm so looking forward of hanging out with friends but there's another thing I'm worried about - the TRAFFIC, and the CROWD, if you're lazy person to drive all the way out to hunt for good food or cook, there's Foodpanda comes to rescue! You could still celebrate and have great bonding session with your friends and family. Special thanks to The Butterfly Project n Foodpanda for this!

The last order that I made was few days ago, we had a very small reunion in the house for winter solstice.

Just register an account, choose your area, find your favourite restaurant and place an order!

Check the video below for the detail on food ordering:-

I placed an order on the most voted restaurants (voted among us not the ranking okay :p) -"The Gastro Project".

Received a confirmation SMS after I placed the order.

There was once I didn't receive this, I dropped an message on the website in "live chat", and they send the SMS to me after that. You may choose to call them too.

The delivery man arrived in less than an hour!!!

The time of food arrival is really depending, usually I receive it in the range of 30 - 60 mins.

Food arrived faster than my friend. =.=

So I unboxed them and captured some pics while waiting for my friend to arrive.

The TGP Burger

Original Cheese Burger

Luscious Mushroom Pie

Nom nom!

The food was still warm and the burgers were not messed like I pictured. The delivery man has good skill of driving haha! ALL IN GOOD SHAPE!!! #thumbsup

(if you've sharp eyes you would notice some potato wedges went missing, yes Xiang couldn't wait and stole them while I was taking picture)

Not really a fan of burger, Mushroom pie was my pick!

And glutinous rice ball for our dessert!

My First Laser Experience with Mediviron UOA Clinic

Aesthetic treatments are getting more popular in Malaysia, I've been receiving a lot of review invitations and it really caught my interest, so I decided to experience it for myself. I'm not a girl who's into plastic surgery or any drastic change to my face, I love the way I born. :) But I think they might have some very mild treatment who fits my needs too? So I accepted  one of those invitations in the hoping that doctor may give me some good advice.

I was first having a consultation with Dr. Jasmine, from Mediviron UOA Clinic

She then having a skin analysis on my skin.

Then she tried to explain to me.

I was offered with two choices - Fractional CO2 Laser and Medlite C6 Nd:YAG Laser.

The first one is quite an intensive treatment, the downtime is one week and the skin will turn pink and peel, so obviously I went for the later choice, which the downtown is only 30 mins or less.

Before the Medlite C6 Nd:YAG Laser process, I was given this Microderbrasion treatment.

It is a non-surgical way to get rid of acne scars, fine wrinkles and sunspots by exfoliating the top layers of the skin.

Simple facial cleaning before the process.

This machine is acting like a "facial vacuum cleaner" to clear the impurities on the skin, my blackheads and whiteheads almost gone after this!!

I love this Microderbrasion treatment, A LOT. I don't feel any pain or discomfort and it could clean my skin thoroughly. My skin was literally having a "spring cleaning"!

Then Medlite C6 Nd:YAG Laser.

The MedLite C6 Laser works by stimulating collagen production. This new technology helps treats scars and wrinkles at the root of the problem, deep in the skin. Using laser energy that penetrates deeply without injuring the top layer of skin, the deep dermis is stimulated to produce natural collagen and other vital proteins that make up healthy, youthful skin.

Dr. Jasmine did the Microderbrasion for double cleansing.

Since this is my first time laser, she set it at the lowest intensity at 3.

She tested on my jawline first, I felt a little painful then she reduced to 2.2. According to them, it's unusual for a patient to feel painful for this procedure, maybe I've a thinner and sensitive skin that's why I felt it, I think at the end they reduced the laser intensity to about 2, or lower.

Before and after, no edit at all to show the difference.

I've brighter skin, smaller pores and some of my acne spots were lighten. My facial hair were bleached and they're more invisible in the picture now. But I did feel a little bit pain on the lips and around eye areas, on the same day that I did the laser. The pain was gone the next day though, I guess sensitive skin person will suffer a little bit more than normal people?

#nofitler and #noedit

Apparently I've more even skin tone even though the laser intensity was a lot lower than what the doctor usually do. Going through aesthetic treatment is really depending on your skin conditions and your level of acceptance. For me, I thought it would be like another facial treatment but it's actually not, aesthetic treatment will change your skin/ appearance. In my own opinions, I think aesthetic treatment is good for those who're having problem skin (acne, scars, etc..) which needs to be cured so badly or to enhance their appearance. It's always advisable to consult doctor before going through any treatments. I believe that beauty is being the best possible version of yourself on the inside and out.

Bali Part III - Sunset Dinner at Jimbaran, Local Art Villages & Volcano Lunch at Mount Batur Volcano

Around 5 more weeks and marks the end of 2014! Omg! Time waits for no one. :( Gonna finish all my travel posts by the end of this year, I know if I never set a goal guess I'll just keep on procrastinating. So this is the part III of my Bali trip, you could find my part I and II posts here - http://emmz-s.blogspot.com/search/label/Bali !

Jimbaran Beach:

Jimbaran beach is famous for its sunset dinner, this is a place that you have to include in your itinerary if you're visiting Bali. There're plenty of restaurants to choose from and we chosen this one - Menega Cafe. Our tour guide/ driver suggested us other restaurant too but he analyzed to us it's pretty much the same, and we're glad we engaged with a good driver that didn't force us to go to the places that he suggested (we think that most of them earn commission by bringing tourists to certain places and restaurants).

TOO PRETTY! First experience dining by the beach, quite romantic even though it's not candle light dinner haha!

Selfie with the pretty sunset is what a girl will do!

Photobombed by KH.

Two couples taking pics from diff angle.

My heart melted to this beautiful view.

Some cold drinks to chill while waiting for our food. :)

Tadaaa!!! FOOD IS SERVED!!!

Different sauces.

Food is yummy, but quite pricey; mostly seafood was on the menu, my favourite!! Their service is quite bad, not attentive even you waved like mad to them, and they'll request for tips even though they don't serve you well. Dining here is purely for the experience, and it's so good to see the sun goes down while you're enjoying meal with your friends. :)

Local Art Villages:

Went to local art villages too, Bali is full of artists and their art pieces are dirt cheap, like mad cheap. You could possibly search your favourite art pieces or handcrafts here, or could bring them home as souvenir too. It's quite an big area for tourists to visit from a different art village to another one (from gold/silver handcrafts, wood crafts to paintings and etc....)

Silver art.

Wood art.

I wish I could bring home more but it's not easy to carry too... #sadstory

Painting.

Mount Batur Volcano:

Dining by the Volcano!!!

I once thought that we might died if the volcano woke up from ''his'' sleep when my friend told us that this is part of our itinerary, but I don't think anyone think like me hah! Anyway life's short, just go and worry later right?

We had our lunch buffet there, and the weather it's quite breezy too! I thought it should be hot to be near the volcano right? Silly me silly thoughts lol.

Frankly, the food was just so so and it's quite pricey with very limited choices. But this is a place for the view not for the food.

I must have regret if I didn't come here, what a magnificent view! #nofilter

Tried to selfie with the volcano but....

I just can't capture the volcano in my selfie!

Asked Xiang to take for me after the lunch, it's without any editing or filter, I'm like one who walk into a beautiful picture!
