Who else could I name besides our national badminton pride, Datuk Lee Chong Wei? The man is an inspiration to the whole of Malaysia. Despite the lack of monetary rewards, heavy criticisms and pressure, he still maintains as the number one player in the world, carrying the country's name along with him on paper. This taught me how to "Keep Walking" in my life, no matter how challenging and fucked up the society can be.

Lim Guan Eng! Chief Minister of Penang! He might be totally non-related, but he definitely came to my mind first! As a Penangite, I have witnessed how he improves Penang into a better place! Even though he has been imprisoned before, but nothing stops him from fighting for the principles of truth and justice! So he definitely epitomizes the meaning of “Keep Walking” and never give up for what is right!

Irene Fernandez
She is an incredible woman who as a prominent Malaysian human right activist, gave voice to the women, immigrant worker and the poor. Irene Fernandez embodies the best of Malaysia even as the worst elements of Malaysian power have long sought to silence her. Her grace, strength, courage and endurance encourage everyone out there especially women to "Keep Walking" and that can make a difference.

No other Malaysian comes close to epitomizing the 'keep walking' motto more than Datuk Nicol David. To date, she has won everything in squash and is the most successful player in the history of the sport. Her determination and her never say die attitude has kept her at the top of her game and she is an inspiration to all Malaysians to keep walking to achieve all our goals.

Annie Ooi aka Aunty Bersih(The lady who wore a yellow t-shirt holding a flower during the Rally Bersih 2.0). The reason she inspires in life would be her "Keep Walking" spirits. Though she was troubled by policemen, was weaken by tear-gas, sprayed by chemical water, she still "Keep Walking" towards her belief and determination for Malaysia. I believe with her spirit of "Keep Walking", we could achieve anything we want if we believe and we "Keep Walking" towards it.

The late Yasmin Ahmad to me represents the meaning of “Keep Walking”. The “Keep Walking” spirit can be seen in her works that even now, her movies and commercials are still being enjoyed and will be remembered eternally. Her works brought many insightful messages to us and continues to make an impact on us Malaysians. Even though she passed on, her works will be forever etched in our hearts.

A famous wealthy Malaysian Chinese businessman, Lim Goh Tong was renowned for his vision and courage in transforming Genting Highlands from an unexplored hilltop into one of the world's most successful casino resorts. He had undergone more difficulties and challenges than any other entrepreneur, but he did not give up every time and kept on fighting. He remained a friendly, sporting and humble person who was actively involved in charitable activities too.

Hmm... Of course is Zang Toi. He used to be someone so ordinary in his tiny size in my dad's hometown. He used to draw, draw and nothing else but draw, again in classes. Let's flash back, do you think you will engross in something you like when you were young until it becomes your career one day? In fact, many do not know what to do in future... the thing is, he knew what he want since young. He never failed to climb up again in every fallen step. His determination and hardship that make him reap the fruit of success today. The spirit of 'keep walking' along the tough path benefits him to fame.... That's the spirit we need!!!

Tony Fernandes, one of the most admired executive-turned-entrepreneurs in Malaysia corporate and working world. He is a 'big believer on big dreams', turning a failing government-linked commercial airline into a highly successful budget airline public-listed company. Many thought him to be crazy during the 11th Sept 2001 tragedy, but he had the different thinking. Successful as he is today, he remains humble and stay down to earth. Because of his 'keep walking' passion, now everyone can fly.

Thinking of Fish Leong, she was once a ugly duckling with stupid glasses and braces - ugly Betty look. The ordinary appearance didn't even cause anyone approached but she sings very well and wishes to be a singer. Due to the hardwork and tough journey, she's now one of the Top Malaysian Singer which proud us all. Jason Lo, definitely. From having a fairly successful music career to owning his own record label (and later being the CEO of tunetalk), there is no limits to what one can do. Which is something I try to emulate in my own career at the moment(Learning guitar, took vocal lessons, ballroom to name a few). And that, is the epitome of "Keep Walking"
